印尼中央统计局10月1日公布的数据显示，2024年1月至8月，有近910万人次外国游客到访印尼，较2023年同期增长20.38%。具体到2024年8月，到访印尼的外国游客数为130万人次，同比增长18.3%，当月游客主要来自马来西亚、澳大利亚和中国。东爪哇省统计局同天披露，8月份来自中国的游客占到该省外国游客数量的约32%。
